He is also the CEO of Sunco, a leading Canadian communication systems integrator with $20M+ in annual revenue, a 19% year-over-year growth rate, and 60+ employees. Most crucially, it keeps people and businesses across the country connected to each other.
As a child and teenager, Mike Schoenberger often felt like a shy outsider, lacking confidence and direction. After graduating high school at 17, unsure of his path, his father Paul brought him to work. Side by side in Paul’s small contracting company, Mike found purpose. The experience instilled in him a strong work ethic, a sense of pride, and the confidence he still draws on today. Paul’s example taught Mike to lead with connection, purpose, and heart — lessons that became the foundation of a life-changing journey.
After 13 years of mentorship, Mike and his wife Jackie purchased the business and launched Sunco Communication and Installation — now one of Canada’s leading business communications companies. Along the way, Mike faced profound personal loss and trauma that reshaped how he lived and led. Through those challenges, he reconnected with his values, emotions, and purpose.
Today, as CEO of Sunco and a champion of heart-centered leadership, Mike leads with radical love. He empowers others to embrace vulnerability, build meaningful relationships, and lead with authenticity. As a proud voice in Canada’s entrepreneurial community, Mike inspires the next generation to turn emotional honesty into business growth — and connection into their greatest strength.
It took two decades and deep heartache, but Mike has learned how to harness the power of raw emotions in the business world. Practicing the philosophy of radical love, he is leading a heart-centered revolution that threatens to disrupt how we live and work — for the better.
